Presbyterian Women (PW) offers women in the church meaningful ways to live out their faith in the midst of a caring community of women. For more than 200 years Presbyterian women’s groups have strengthened the Presbyterian Church and played a major role in sharing the good news of Jesus Christ and witnessing to the promise of God’s kingdom. And in 2013, Presbyterian Women celebrates 25 years of praying and working together as “Presbyterian Women,” the organization created with the reunited Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). ​

​Monthly Mission Focus

Each month PW focus their mission efforts in supporting a agency to meet the needs of our community.
  • January - Crawford Central Elementary Schools (Socks, pull on pants and underwear).
  • February - Church World Service (Blankets+ Offering).  
  • March - The WiNs Project (Peanut butter and graham crackers for their spring break nutrition packs given to Crawford Central Elementary students).
  • April - Fairview Fairmont Family Center (Monetary donations so the staff can create "Welcome Kits" for the new residents).
  • May - Presbyterian Women (PW Birthday Offering).
  • June & July - Our Food Pantry (Fill the swimming pool with nonperishable food items).
  • August - Common Roots (Monetary donation to procure equipment for litter collection).
  • September - The Greenhouse Women's Shelter and St. James Men's Shelter (Laundry detergent, dish soap and paper products).
  • October - To be determined.
  • November - Presbyterian Women (PW Thank Offering) 
  • December - Women's Services (Unwrapped items for children to give their mothers for Christmas. Wrapping paper, bows, gift tags and tape are also needed).
These projects are subject to change if a need arises.  Reminders and changes to the monthly projects will be shared at your Circle Meeting and via the church bulletin. ​​
