Meet Our Team

The Rev. Dr. Brian K. Jensen is the 19th Senior Pastor of First Presbyterian Church, beginning his pastorate in November 2003. Dr. Jensen received a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Iowa in 1982, a Master of Divinity degree from the Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary in 1985, and a Doctor of Ministry degree in Christian spirituality from the Columbia Theological Seminary in 2002. His wife, Leslie, is a music teacher in the Crawford Central School District. They have raised three children - Rob, Mariah and Travis - who are respectively a pharmacist, an accountant and a pilot.

In January 2023, Dr. Jensen announced to the congregation his intention to retire at the end of August.

The Rev. Dr. Daniel Corll joined First Presbyterian Church as part-time Visitation Pastor in 2019. He retired in 2018 after 41 years in ministry, the last 27 ½ yrs as pastor at Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church in Wexford, PA, from which he holds the title of Pastor Emeritus. He served in three other pastorates prior to Mt. Pleasant. A graduate of Westminster College, New Wilmington, PA, he holds Master of Divinity (1980) and Doctor of Ministry (2001) degrees from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary and certifications in neuro-linguistic programming and transitional ministry. He also completed coursework in church business administration. Among his many hobbies are woodcarving, gardening, antiques and travel.

Dr. Corll’s wife, the former Deborah Satterlee, is a Meadville native. Debbie is self-employed as grant writer for non-profit organizations. Together, they reside in Vernon Township on Debbie’s family homestead. The Corlls have four adult children and are blessed with four grandchildren. Dr. Corll’s hope and purpose in his visitation ministry is to “meet, greet, visit and offer care along with church staff and boards for members, neighbors, and friends of the church with the love of Christ.”

Kevin Dill has been the Music Director at First Presbyterian since 2006. He earned his B.Mus from the University of Victoria and his M.Mus from the University of Alberta in his native Canada. He also holds the Associateship Diploma from the Royal Canadian College of Organists, and in 2009 was a finalist in the RCCO's National Organ Playing Competition. In addition to serving the congregation of First Presbyterian, Kevin is on the staff of Allegheny College as a choral and vocal accompanist. Kevin is married to Sonya Eagles-Dill, who is the Administrative Assistant at First District Elementary School, and together they have two children.

Kris Lubomski walked through the doors of First Presbyterian Church in the fall of 2010. At that time, she was applying for a childcare position; unbeknownst to her, God had a different plan. On October 1, 2010 she started her calling as Financial Secretary of First Presbyterian Church. Kris is the church’s bookkeeper, secretary to the Board of Trustees, and editor of the monthly newsletter. She also collaborates with the Administrative Assistant who oversees the daily operation of the church office.

Kris grew up in the Catholic church. She studied psychology and business at the University of Pittsburgh, and was previously a bookkeeper for her family’s business. She is a caregiver to her disabled husband, John. She feels blessed to work beside her son, L.B., who is the church's evening custodian. Kris gives all the glory to God for who she is today.

Mary Zahora is the Administrative Assistant for First Presbyterian Church. Mary has been employed at the church for over 20 years. She was born and raised in Crawford County. Mary's husband, Dennis, is a Realtor for Howard Hanna Real Estate in Meadville. They have two sons, and love spending time with their three grandsons. Mary enjoys her family, friends, and Bible Studies. She also has a strong love for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Elijah Boyd is our daytime custodian, joining our staff in 2011. Elijah and his wife Theresa live in Meadville. Elijah and his family keep God in their lives first, and pray for those who need prayer.

Vickie Fischer, Coordinator of Elementary Programming, joined the staff of First Presbyterian Church in December of 2018. Her wish to serve the Lord and her love of children are her inspirations to fulfil the responsibilities of her position. Vickie retired from the Crawford Central School District in 2013 after 35 years teaching business and computer classes at the middle school and high school.

Vickie and her husband Bob have been members of First Presbyterian for over 25 years. They have two grown sons and two grandchildren living in Meadville. Vickie enjoys being with family, reading, and watching Hallmark Channel movies.

Lawrence (LB) Lubomski has been the evening custodian at First Presbyterian since March of 2019. He is a graduate of Conneaut Lake High School. He has a liberal arts degree from Thiel College. He has previously worked in retail sales and was also a caregiver in a Meadville group home. His loves spending time with his girlfriend, Josi. They enjoy thrift store shopping as well as computer and board games.
