First Presbyterian is hosting Meadville’s “Spring Ring” on Saturday, April 27 at 3:00 p.m. The program features the Trinity Belltones from Trinity Lutheran, the Carillon Ringers from Stone Methodist, and our own Liberty Bells. Organists James Ross, Patrick Bier, and Kevin Dill will also perform. Don’t miss this chance to hear all three of Meadville’s handbell choirs!
Easter Egg Hunt and Lunch: The Christian Education Committee is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt and Lunch on Saturday, April 20, 2019, in Fellowship Hall for children up to Grade 5. The event is from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. We will be creating a craft which involves making an Easter basket, an egg hunt, the Easter story and lunch. Visiting family and friends are welcome. Reservations with number of children with ages is very much appreciated. Please call the office by Wednesday, April 17. Donations of candy to fill some of the eggs are requested. Any contributions need to be in the office by April 17, also.
Presbyterian Women’s Mission Focus for April is our Church Food Pantry: We are collecting non-perishable food items and monetary donations. Your help is needed to stock up our shelves so that we can meet this growing need in our community. Please place your donations in the Presbyterian Women’s bin in the church office. Thank you!
“Praying for Children” is on Tuesday afternoons at 1:00 p.m., in the Collins Room. Prayer is a priceless gift we can give our children! It is a privilege to pray for them! You are invited to come and pray for the children in your life...for their spiritual, emotional and physical protection...for their schools and for their futures. Commitment to attend every week is not necessary. All are welcome!
The Food Pantry is in need of monetary and food donations. The Food Pantry items are instant potatoes, rice, spaghetti, spaghetti sauce, canned tuna, pork and beans, boxed macaroni and cheese, canned vegetables, canned soup, peanut butter, saltine crackers, oatmeal, cereal, canned fruit, applesauce, and powdered milk.
