"We started coming to First Presbyterian after moving to Meadville in 1987.  We were immediately impressed with all this church had to offer and specifically the weekly worship services.  Whether it was the pastor’s message or the majesty of the music, we always felt God’s presence here. Forty years later, we continue to call this church home! The worship continues to surprise, inspire, and challenge us.  The music stirs emotions and supports the weekly message brilliantly.  We came here not knowing a soul, yet today some of our dearest friends are friends we met here. The congregation supports each other as well as many programs in the community and church universal. It has become much more than a place we visit on Sunday mornings."

"Shortly after my family moved here while I was in 6th grade, we began attending First Presbyterian. I completed confirmation class, was a member of the youth choir, and became a member of the church while I was in high school. During my high school years I was very active in the church youth group and often, my now husband Sam, would also attend youth group events. We were marred in the church and our three children have been baptized here, and we look forward to continue watching them grow in faith in such a warm and welcoming family. First Presbyterian Church of Meadville has a strong history of offering our youth many opportunities to grow and strengthen their relationship with Christ which is very important to us to keep our children engaged in learning and growing."
